DIY Bathbombs/ Mini-bathbombs for your foot spa! :)

Recently, I threw a baby shower. I was trying to think of what would make good gifts-something to treat lovely peeps who came and also helped out. So I decided to make some bathbombs. Now I realise that there are so many recipes on bath bombs on-line. I have tried couple of different recipes and I can say that they all end up slightly different.

However, this is a recipe I do like. So here’s to sharing ย ๐Ÿ™‚ I had lots of fun making them. At the end, my hand&arms felt all soft and smelled like orange scented perfume ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you give it a go, don’t forget to ask if you have any questions!!!

112.5g baking soda,ย 56.5g citric acid (these 2 are for the fizz effect)

56.5g corn flour (this is to bind the whole thing)

56.5g Epsom salt (releases muscle tension)

1/2 tsp water (Add this in drops. As you add, quickly stir like crazy! ๐Ÿ™‚ Otherwise

10-12 drops of pure essential orange oil (yes, I know, quite a lot I know…but more oil= smells amazing!)

2tsp 100% Italian olive oil (soothes dry skin/cracks in your feet)

Fewย drops of non-toxic water based red&yellow food colouring to achieve orange

Dry rose petals/other flower petals of your choice+ gift bags+ribbon/coloured strings

I had someone ask me if they were candy/lollies. ๐Ÿ™‚ heheh ๐Ÿ™‚ They really did smell amazing though! ๐Ÿ™‚ I used silicon mini-muffin moulds by the way, in case you are wondering what I used to mould my mini bathbombs.

*Tip: You have to work quite fast as you bind the whole thing. Otherwise, the miture dries up fairly fast and solidifies. Remember: Mix your wet ingredients first and then add it to your dry ingredients ๐Ÿ™‚

Two different ways of wrapping ๐Ÿ™‚ One batch= see through clear bags.

Other batch= Tissue papers ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun!!!
